Denise Hepper is a personal, independent slimming consultant, working in the Bromley Kent/ North Kent areas, including Bromley, Bickley, Chislehurst, Petts Wood, Orpington, Hayes, West Wickham, Farnborough, Keston and Sidcup.
She strongly believes that no one 'diet' solves every persons weight problems and issues, but that each of us can 'learn' to be slim and create the bodies we would choose to have. Each of us is unique, and that is why Denises' approach to each person is so individual. Our lives, our history with weight , our ways of dealing with weight and food, our food tastes and preferences are all so different, that there just cant be one 'blanket' answer that will cover all our individual needs.

Dear Fellow Slimmer,

Weight - weight loss - getting rid of the excess weight that makes lives miserable is my passion. It fills my days, my thoughts and has done for over 30 years. I cannot remember a time in my adult life when I wasn't trying or at least aware of the latest diet craze - be it sensible or not so. When my feelings of self belief and esteem weren't linked to the number on the scales, or the size of my clothes. My days were good or bad, awful or ok, mainly depending on what stage I was at on my weight loss journey.

Why? I don't know. I don't consider myself an uneducated woman - I'm not crazy (I!?!) - although that has been questioned!!

During my time as a slimming consultant with Slimming World and since as an independant slimming consultant I have spoken to, hugged, cried and laughed with hundreds of 'dieters' who have families, run households, hold down amazing careers, have their own successful businesses, completed degrees.

In general, they cope with all life has to throw at them - apart from weight, the ability to deal with and control their weight on a long term basis.

Come Slim With Me is not just about giving you a diet as I'm 99.99% sure we know what we should be eating - you will be given an eating plan and you will be weighed, of course you will...... but its so much more than that. Feeling good about ourselves and our weight doesn't just come down to being 'on a diet' - it doesn't just come down to will power, or following lists of foods we can or cannot have. Ultimately it comes down to what is going on in our heads - flick the switch and we're strong- flick it the other way and we're off - hurtling down that snake to 'failure' at 10 times the speed it took us to climb the ladder to 'success'. Come Slim With Me is all about inspiring, motivating and empowering ourselves and each other to achieve our goal- whatever the dream is - through support, talks, laughs and tears - all the emotions under the sun that shine through when like minded 'dietholics' get together!!
